Do you have an 8310 as indicated in your post, or an 8130 as indicated in your profile?

If your carrier is ATT, I am betting an 8310, which at this point does not have video recording until OS 4.5 is released. At that time you can upgrade and video recording will work.

A little research at time of purchase would have indicated that video recording is not possible with the 8310 in its current state. You would not have been so surprised at bat last night.

sorry...i am not sure which model num i have...its blackberry curve, and yes, through AT and T

as far as research....my wife and I got these phones for free from AT and T as an upgrade....she had an LG pos that was having problems, and I had a RZR that was WAAAAAY outdated.

i was so used to taking short vids with my RZR, that it was something i didnt even think about

so, I didnt research these phones, they basically fell into my lap
