Default Want to stream a .pls?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I did a little searching and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I want to stream www.bassdrive.com to my blackberry. Is this possible? Do I need to download some program to do it, like RadioBee, etc? Let me know!

Thanks

I haven't received my curve yet but when it gets here I would love to know how to stream a .pls file. I have about a hundred favorite shoutcast stations and they are all .pls

Anyone?

Alrighty I got the 411 yo! I've been playing with it for a few days and all you need to do is download either berrytunes, dollars 5 media player or mfradio and then set up the link threw the media player. Its easy but leme know if you need help. In dollars 5 media player hit menu>add station then enter the station name and then the link http ://205.188.215.226:8010 with no spaces of course. Then hit menu and save. Dollars5 and also berrytunes are 20 bucks but you get a free week trial. I didnt try the free one mfradio because it plays choppy on my curve.

I get use of thousands of free radio stations to play on the blackberry just visit shoutcast and put in the search the station you want. Thats how I got the url for bassdrive. Then right click the "listen" link and save it to the desktop. Then open it with notepad to view the numeric url needed. it is a http link followed by a series of numbers ending in a colon and the last 2 or 4 numbers similar to the url that I gave you for your station. here are the media players that work. But again mfradio was bad for me.

BerryTunes - MP3 Player for BlackBerry

Dollars 5 Complete mediaPlayer for Blackberry 8800, 8300 and 8100

MFRadio - mobile streaming radio

Well after playing with these players for a few days and chatting with the developers I recommend Dollars 5 media player. So far it has played almost every Internet stream I have entered in it but mostly because they offer free upgrades for life.
