Exclamation KeyListener in 8310 on MainScreen gives Exception

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have an application which tries to listen Key Press Events on my Application Screen launched in background. I launch my Application screen from Options Manager.

When I try to open the application, I get "Unauthorized attempt to monitor key press" and in the log I get "ControlledAccessException"

The same application works fine in the earlier versions like 7100g device.

What could be the reason for this? Has BlackBerry restricted this operation on newer devices (or OS)? If so, what could be the reason for the same?

Regards
Guru
