Sorry if this isn't the place. But I owuld like to assign downloaded ringtones i have to my text messaging. Is this possible? I downloaded a tone and can't seem to add it to my text message alert.

Anybody?????

What exactly happens? Does the tone not show up as an option? Do you get an error? Are you not sure where to go to assign tones to alerts? It's really impossible to tell what's going on with what you've provided.

Did you save the ringtone in the ringtones or music folder?

Make sure the tone is in your ringtones folder. Second go to profiles and select advance and the profile you want to edit. Select SMS and the tone will be there for you to use. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE BEFORE EXITING THE SCREEN!!![B[/b]

it saved in the ring tone folder..but how do i assign it to my text messages?

Edit the active profile and set the tone for SMS and MMS to the new tone.

WORKS..But i wanted to add a rooster sound for my ALARM.. but i don't see it under advanced options.
