New BB user. Lots of stuff to learn about it. I have the 8330

Everytime I enter passwords in the BB to access accounts, it says its wrong. Being that the passwords are encoded. I can't tell if I'm typing it in wrong. Is there anyway around this?

The other phone I had would briefly show eas symbol as I was typing before it turning into a "*". I has hoping there was a way to set it to do the same. Gets really frustrating.

One trick if it's NOT the password to access the Blackberry itself (but rather for an application or function) would be to create a SMS text... type the password there, then copy and paste it into the application. It is frustrating at times, but it's also secure!
