Whenever I send an email from my Blackberry, almost instantly after I send it I get an email that confirms that it has been sent. Is there any way to turn this off? Haha I find it quite annoying that immediately after I send something I get a confirmation email that I sent it when I KNOW I sent it haha.

Hi Amy....

Go to the messaging application then hit menu button and select OPTIONS, then EMAIL SETTINGS and change as desired....

I think almost everyone has this issue. I just posted on it not too long ago. Even though all receipts are off it will still send it. Even my old Moto Q did it. Its a PITA.

Sorry I misread. You were talking about the sent receipt and I'm talking about the actual email being sent back to the phone. Oops.

Thanks, I went into this setting & all three are already selected as "no." They are:

Confirm Delivery
Confirm Read
Send Read Receipts

It's not that I'm getting a read receipt, I'm actually getting a SENT receipt, which seems a bit redundant to me. Any more help?
