Default Opera Mini and OWA via home Wi-Fi without a T-Mobile data plan on a 8320 Curve?

Hi, I have a new 8320Curve on T-Mobile and it rocks!

Here's my issue: With no data plan, I can access my company email residing on our Exchange server via home wi-fi and OWA on the Curve's built-in web browser, but the much nicer Opera mini browser shows a padlock with a slash through it and gives a message "Bad request (invalid host Name)." I looked at Page Info and it's clear I typed in the right address as it shows my company name as the Holder. FYI, when using the built-in browser I am asked to accept the OWA page even though it doesn't have an approved security certificate, but I don't even get that screen in Opera mini. Any ideas how to get around what seems to be a security block accessing our Exchange server via Opera?
