When I remove my 8300 from its case, I have noticed that (apparently randomly) from times to times the emails get automatically openeded and from times to times no. Do you have an idea why ?

If you wait about 30 seconds to pull the BB out of the holster, the emails won't open automatically. If you pull it out right after getting a new email, it will open automatically.

Can this setting be changed?

Nope. I didn't like it at first but it doesn't bother me anymore.

It is built in and not optional. I, too, have learned to wait a few extra seconds before removing from the holster.
