I don't know how you define a hard reset, did you pull the battery and replace, to reboot?

I think the Verizon homepage has had some problems lately. Sometimes I get a message that it's unavailable, and sometimes it works ok or is very slow.

I have the same problem but found if you don't wait for the home page to open and just go to whatever page you want it goes just as fast as anything else. I can't explain why the homepage takes so long but it does for me too.

You can always set the browser to open up to bookmarks or to go to another homepage if that's the case.

The system got real slow near the end of the Lakers and Celtics game, everyone was using the server for score updates

My browser on my sprint phone is quite slow no matter what emulation I used. But then I installed operamini and its so so much faster! You do have to get used to the zoom and the way it browses unless you are using the mobile view but everything shows up so much more clean and like a desktop version! On top of that with the stock browser when I would try to go to certain pages and the browser would shut down but with operamini I have no problem whatsoever!
