Default Media Player gripe

I find it strange that the Media Player can't display any folders for movies/videos whilst images is presented in a folder format.

The videos/movies are presented as whole heap of files (despite me sorting them into 10 different folders) whilst images are presented in the folders they are stored under.

Is there any way of getting the video/movie file selection into a folder format? Or is this another "user (un)friendly feature" of the Media Player.

Oh yeah - I have a 8310 running 4.2.2.146

select the media icon then hit the menu button and select "explore." you should then be able to browse by folder. not the most graceful method but it should work.

Thanks for that useful info.
Not the most obvious option that springs to mind but it does do the job.
At least the explorer is flexible enough to open up mp3s, videos and images.
