Ok, I have my new BlackBerry 8330 and I want to listen to Sirius Radio on it. I have gone and loded Orb and iSirius as outlined through my research. I have done all that has been asked of me to do, and still come up to a dead end. Orb has a site where you can test to see if you can streamline with your device, and guess what? I have tried every configureation known to man, and still nothing. I have three hairs left in my scalp and before they get ripped out, can someone tell me just maybe this 8330 can't perform this task, and that I should look to get a third party software that can. Thank you to everyone here for you guidance, wisdom, and your generosity.

Sincerely,

MICP1480

iSirius was designed for the iPhone, I don't know that anyone has gotten it to work with a Blackberry.

Where were the instructions you looked at?

ma077146, here is what I found on this forum in regards to what I am trying to achieve.

1. Download/install Orb to your desktop computer.

2. Download/install uSirius to your desktop

3. Configure both to normal settings

4. In uSirius, copy the supplied channel URL (click the URL button then select the channel you want, then copy to clipboard).

5. On your desktop, go to Orb, then go to the "Audio page" and make sure you are in the internet radio area.

6. Paste the URL and channel name you copied from uSirius into "Add Custom" under the "my Favorate internet radio." Then orb will know where to look for the sirius feed.

Note: You need to repeat this step for every sirius channel you want.

7. On your blackberry browser go to mycast.orb.com
Log in and go to favorate internet radio links and click the feed/channel you want to listen to. Remember, uSirius needs to be running on your desktop.

8. hope this helps

I can stream XM radio through my 8330 with Orb and uXM program which is the same thing but just for XM listeners.

If the uSirius program is just like the uXM one I use, all you need to do is hit the URL button on the uSirius program and go to the drop down list and select the channel you want.

Once selected it will give you the IP address that you need to copy paste onto the Orb.com website.

On the website you will go to audio, internet radio, add custom, type w/e you wanna call it and paste the IP into the path area and hit ok.

You should be able to see the channel in your favorites and then connect to the orb website via your bberry and click on the channel, it should see if your phones fast enough for streaming then bring up the link to stream the radio station you picked.

Listen and enjoy.

This link should help if you cannot follow my directions.

Worked great MICP! Took less than 10 minutes to do and I am terrible at setting crap like this up. Thanks a lot.
