Default MMS Option Not Present In 8320 Curve

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys,

I'll get right to the point. The MMS option is not even present when I'm in the compose message menu. Here's what's there:

- Compose E-mail
- Place Call
- Compose SMS
- Blackberry Messanger

As you can clearly see, MMS doesn't even appear.

This is an unlocked 8320 Blackberry Curve. I'm on FIDO, which has no Blackberry data plan but I'm guessing this has nothing to do with a Data plan because I used to use this crap phone that could still send out MMS messages.

Someone please point me in the right direction. I've tried reseting it and nothing. A walkthrough would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Andre

Wirelessly posted (my new touch button BB)

On the BB you need a BB dataplan in order to send mms

You can't receive service books without a BB data plan and as ezrunner said, MMS on a BB requires a BB data plan.

Really? It's interesting that they have their own BIS site then...

And even with a BB Data Plan not all carriers will allow MMS transmissions via BB

I have a friend who has a BB on Rogers, doesn't subscribe to any BB Data Plan and is still able to send MMS messages. How does this make any sense then? I thought you needed a Blackberry Data Plan to send MMS's???

Discontinued... So my original statement still stands.
