Default IS the Sprint 8330 3g capable?

All the reviews said it was thicker than the Verizon 8330 because of the 3g chip. Also on the back of my 8330, it says Qualcomm 3g. So whats the deal?

yes. EVDO Rev.0

and as far as i know, the verizon and sprint phones are identical and both Rev.0 capable. it's thicker and heavier than the GSM version, but not between it and the verizon 8330.

If the VZW 8330 was different from the Sprint 8330 it would have a different model number. You can confirm specs at Blackberry.com. There's only one set of dimensions. An 8330 is an 8330.

EVDO REV 0 is not 3g though. I thought that was Rev A

edit: I stand corrected. Rev 0 is considered 3g

Currently, only the Pearl 8130 is 3G. The Pearl 8100, 8110 and 8120 are not.
