Default PLEASE help me download Flash lite for my 8310

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought a Blackberry Curve 8310 last month and would love to have a flash player for it. I have found tons of suggestions for Flash Lite 2.1 and where to get it, but cannot figure out how to download it. I have tried to go through the Adobe website, which most links have taken me through. I've registered through Adobe and have reached the link for the 2.1 download for mobiles, but this is where I am continually getting stuck. My blackberry does not recognize the file, which has a CAB extension, saying it is an application/octet stream.

This is my first PPC (I guess that's what you'd call it) and I have no idea what I'm doing. Please help!!

You don't have a PPC (Pocket PC), you have a BlackBerry.
There is no Flash Lite player for the BlackBerry.

The CAB file is for WIndows Mobile devices and will not work on your device.

Thanks for the reply! Is there any software available that I would be able to download or purchase for my Blackberry? My major problem is that I am an online school teacher, and our school's website requires a flash player.

If there is not one currently available, are you aware of any future plans for one? I'm just not sure where I should be checking, or which companies to keep an eye on. (During my experimenting, I ran into Skyfire - not sure if that will be a help to me when their next version comes out or not.)

You can upgrade to the 4.5OS and use the video camera flash.

Put a conv key to the vid camera (I did), then simply make sure the flash is on. It's blinding - GRIN.

I sincerely hope u are being sarcastic. Are you even reading the question/thread?

They are discussing FLASH, not a Flash LIGHT.
