there is no difference between one carrier release of an OS and another (other than the OS version itself). Tmo doesnt carry the 8310 so you wont see an OS for it from Tmo. What exactly are you looking for? ANY 8310 OS will work on ANY 8310 just fine

they will work fine, Tmo has a long history of issues with MMS and the BlackBerry. I have never used a Tmo OS on my Tmo BBs and it works like a champ. If your MMS isnt working it is likely another cause

First off, the OS does not contain carrier-specific settings.

The service books configure your BB for your carrier. If you're having MMS/Internet issues then your problem is not the OS but elsewhere as already stated.

Do you have a Blackberry data plan? You can't receive the service books without one.

...and I rarely use at&t OS's with my at&t BB's (unless at&t happens to have the latest OS for my models) and all my BB's work without any issues.

Again, the carrier branding of the OS is irrelevant.
