Default How do I set up my new Curve to notify me of new emails? - 06-19-2008, 09:43 AM

Dumb question - How do I set up my curve to notify/alert me when a new email arrives? On my previous 8700C it used to do that.

Advise and thanks.

Click on "Profiles" (it looks like a megaphone speaker). By default it is set to "normal." Scroll down to advanced and click on it. You will see the profiles in text format. Click the menu button on your active profile (again, "normal" by default) and then click edit, a list of all the features will come up. Click on the feature you want to change the sound on. Then all you do is click on whatever you want to change and how you want to be alerted.

You never edited the profiles on your 8700C? Just wondering...
