I think I may have acquired some sort of virus on my Curve 8300: sometimes my internet freezes, sometimes my ringtones and media player don't operate corrrectly, and sometimes my voice dialing feature will freeze and fail to operate. How can I diagnose if I have a virus, and then, if I do have a virus, how can I rid myself of it...? I've tried doing a "hard reset" (battery pull) and it helps, but only temporarily...

There has never been a known virus on a Blackberry.

I'm betting it's a memory issue. look in Options >Status and please post the number you have next to "file free."

Please don't double post.

Your memory is fine. Ruling out a memory issue, do you have any 3rd party applications or themes installed? Did this occur after installing any 3rd party applications or themes?

Sounds to me like some other program working in the background. Make sure you are closing programs when done. Check the Switch applications function and see what is running

No, I have not downloaded any 3rd party applications such as themes or programs. The only things I've downloaded were music and ringtones, and videos.
