HELP! After having two great experiences with BB in the past, my new CURVE is really being a pain in the A$$. I left the iPhone to come back to BB, but now I am wondering why.

I lost all of my Outlook Calendar items. They are still on my BB, but when I try to edit them on the BB it says they have been deleted externally. OUCH!!
I obviously did the WRONG thing by accepting the deletions it wanted to do during the SYNC. The message kept popping up and the first few times I canceled. Then I ASSUMED it was dupes, so I accepted. Now I am in trouble. I found a string in this forum to delete the BB calendar database, re-sync, and that seems to work for the situation when the operator was smart and canceled the deletions. Is there any fix for me right now or am I DEAD IN THE WATER???

Mark, Outlook has a Deleted Items folder. If your deletions are there it is a matter of dragging them back to the appropriate folder.

As another alternative, do you have a backup of your Outlook .PST (data) file? You may open it and copy any deleted items back. Or exit Outlook and copy the backup file over your current .PST file. (I would move the damaged .PST file to another folder, in case you still have to return to it.)

Thanks folks. I could not figure out how to do a Windows Restore JUST for my Outlook calendar.

I do have a backup PST, but it is quite old, and it would take a while to sort thru differences. I will look at the deleted items folder.....I thought that only applied to emails. Thanks again! If this doesn't work, I'm going to have to re enter each appointment back before deleting the calendar database from my BB.

I could use a Guiness or two right now.......

Well I lucked out....all of the deleted calendar items were sitting in my Deleted folder. THANKS SO MUCH!!! I removed the Calendar database from the device and then reset, then re-synced (after moving all of the deleted items back into the calendar in Outlook).
