Hey guys, my student email address is a a passphrase that has to be a minimum of like 15 or so characters long. I just bought a Curve(verizon) and I can't sync my email address because the password is too long. What can I do, this is a big reason why I bought the device

I wasn't aware of a password length limitation.

my password is 18 characters and it cuts off at 15 I think...

Are you entering this on the BB or on the BIS webpage on your PC?

i was able to shorten my password to 15 characters, so now it does fit. i checked from my computer to see if the new password worked and it did. However, when i tried to set it up again on my blackberry, it says unable to process. I set up two other mail accounts with no problem at all. The only difference here is that this email is a .edu instead of a .com

Anyone know what to do?

More than likely you can't "pop" your school mail. Get together with the IT department at school and I'm sure they can fix you up.
