Please Login to Remove!

How can I get google talk and yahoo msger on my Verizon curve. I tried to download Jivetalk and the Desktop managers application loader can not find it in my downloaded files. Is there another application that I can use?

to load an application via your PC, you must have both the ALX and COD files downloaded--know where on your PC you have downloaded them (or open the ZP file you download and know where on the PC).

Then open Desltop Manager > Application Loader > ADD, and navigate to where you located the ALX/COD file.

Greetings, members. I just got my VZW Curve 8330 today. I have discovered most sources for applications I want but I am not finding the GoogleTalk app for BlackBerry on the BlackBerry site or the GoogleTalk page.

When I go to blackberry.com/googletalk, it tells me that it requires Internet Explorer because of ActiveX controls. There is no over-the-air download available. What am I missing?

I just answered my own question. I loaded the URL from the BB browser and was able to install it no prob.

I had previously tried with Opera Mini and was unsuccessful. Is this because Opera does not support ActiveX and BB browser does?
