Very Werid Problem With My Phone...Please Help

I have a really weird problem , every time i try talking to someone ( and when the menu is the talking menu ) on the top right side theres a bar to control how loud you want to voice to be.

For me every time that bar keeps going up an down , and no the buttons that you use to control the volume aren't broken or aren't being pressed down. Also it keeps making a weird static sound to.

Please help me

Also don't know if it matters , but it i was talking on it perfectly fine , after i finished talked i put it on charge. 30min later i get a call , and that's when the problem started happening

Also i posted this the general theard to ,dont know where its suppose to go , so mods delete the one thats in the wrong place , sorry about that

If your device is new, I would warranty exchange it.

Right when the talk menu comes up , the volume bar goes up and down and weird tick tick tick tick sounds start coming up making it impossible to hear what the other person is saying

When i do the hard reset , what exactly does get erased? once again i apologyz for my lack of knowledge when it comes to phones

JSanders 06-22-2008 07:01 AM

Ace, nothing gets erased in a hard reset. A hard reset is nothing more than a battery pull (while powered on). The browser cache is cleared, along with other data caches which are not vital. No address book, calendar or saved data is deleted.

Wirelessly posted

His "ignorance" is just him not knowing. Such a dumb word ignorance. Some people just come off rude these days

If this continues, has your phone ever got wet?

joeygator 06-22-2008 03:24 PM

If the phone has not been wet and volume changes during a call rather than between, I would try to warr exchange for new one. If not, then try the os etc. Just do backup of data first so u don't have to start over.

Ace626 06-22-2008 04:21 PM

Nope my phones never been gottin wet , only thing i can think of is once while i was cleaning my room and kinda the house to the phone was in my pocket , but then again i hardly broke a sweat
and nope the hard reset didnt work ( while it was on i took out the battery then put it back in , it loaded for like a min )

NickfromIL 06-22-2008 11:06 PM

You could try upgrading your OS. Go to the 8300 series forum and check the lastest for 8310, and follow the instructions.
