T-Mo Curve Questions So my contract has just expired with T-mo and im considering renewing it again for two more years and they offered me a decent deal on the same service but less $$. soo im wondering if i should get the curve or something else. I read that the OS upgrade later on in the year will eventually give the 8320 ability to record video and possibly send it as well. my question is if its a smart move to get a curve now or wait around for the "Expected" september release of the 9000 with the tmo 3g network roll out as well. should i just roll about without a contract till then or get this now? |
I'd say personal preference will play the biggest part of the decision. The Curve is a nice device, however, if you are not one to upgrade to the newest and bestest (and it doesn't appear you are if you still have the 7105), i would say wait the 2+ months for TMo hottest offering to come. |
i just havent been here in a while noo that was my old T-mo BB back in 06 but i havent had one in the last year and i wanna get back to owning a BB. i really really want one not but i have no idea if i even want to wait anymore. |
In that case, I'd say go for the Curve now, the 8320 with WiFi is a great device. |
And there is no evidence that T-Mobile will have the 9000 in September; no rumors on dates at all. I would go with the 8320; I think it's a great BlackBerry. |

Why don't you stay month-to-month until a BB that you want comes out? That's what I did, I was month-to-month for a while and then back when the Pearl came out, I got it at the lower price when I signed up for another contract with TMO. |
ID SAY GET THE NEW IPHONE AND HAcK THE CRAP OUT OF IT.sorry. i have the curve for t-mobile and its getting a bit boring :\ you can do more with the iphone if you hack it to its fullest :\ |
riiiite NJBlackBerry i was over at the BOLD forum and a lot of people said september time for the Tmo BB9000 to come out. and the 3G to roll out. well thats what i captured from reading the different posts. the TMO lady i talked to was gonna take 15 off my monthly bill soo id be getting the BB service for a measly 5 buck in comparison to my current bill. cause ill be getting a some nice savings if i renew the contract. i mite do a one year deal and see what prices i can get. but you gusy dont think the G3 and the bold will be rolling out in a few months. |

Well, I think you should wait (and not move a bit) until the T-Mobile 9000 comes out. |
But keep drinking the beer. Ur posts are qite indertaining wen you are plsterd. |
what would lead you guys to the conclusion of me being plastered and for those who have the Tmo curve how are you surviving without the gps feature and the 8330 features. video recording until the new OS release |

how??? can you send videos too?? |
I vote for just rolling along with no contract. As another poster said, you'll get a better price on the phone. |

My vote is to wait as well. I got the Pearl on T-Mobile and three months later the Curve came out. Paid $449 + tax & shipping. OUCH!!! |
