Default Auto Lock Feature ?

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone have an 'auto lock' applet for the 8310 curve ?

I had found and downloaded it for the 8700 before, but that does not seem to work for the 8310.

Thanks,
Fredster.

Cool Still tryin to AutoLock

Sorry Snipe ... I can't help you.

On my issue tho ...

I tried again to load AutoLock.alx to my 8310 curve, using the BB manager software on my laptop. I get an Error when I attempt to browse for and select the app to load (which is the MetsFan AutoLock.alx app). Error message says 'No additional applications designed for your device were found'.

Any ideas on how to correct this ?

MetsFan ?

Thanks
Fredster

JS ...

Thanks .. that helped me get the 4.2 desktop software loaded quickly and easily. When I did, then the Roxio app started working, which wasn't before. However, the autolock software still gives me the same error when I try to load it.

I can actually live with that if I have to ... but if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. If you give me the link to the software on MetsFan's site, I'll try to download again .. maybe that'll solve it.

A couple of more questions tho ...
I have BES mail from my company, and also a personal e-mail set up on my BB curve.
That presents 2 separate icons on my BB screen. (just what I want)
However, Mail that comes to my personal account, also shows up on my BB under the business account. (business mail does not show on the personal account). The personal mail does not actually make it to my business account ... as when I look in Outlook on the laptop, it is not actually on the business server, just shows up on the BB that way.

I would prefer that the 2 icons and mail-listings remain separate on my BB. ... Just an annoyance to see both listed on my business account.

Any way to control this ?

Much appreciate your continued support,
Fredster.

What does AutoLock do that the built-in lock function in the Blackberry doesn't? I looked at it, but didn't see the point. I use the built-in lock feature since you can set the timer to whatever you want. I also use a program called AutoStandby that works great to lock to the keyboard and save battery life.
