I am not a blackberry owner my girlfriend is. I know zero about blackberries and she knows less. I am trying to get the blackberry to load the regular version of paypal instead of the mobile version..how do I get it to load the regular version of webpages. I change the browser option to desktop in the options but it still goes to the mobile version of the webpage Barring that how do I get the 8310 to function as a modem? I went to the faq but it assumes I know how to use this thing. I picked it up five minutes ago. I haven't a clue how to get to "control panel" or turn on "the desktop" or "mobile manager" to check mobile functions. Can someone please help with step by step instructions.

Adjust the emulation in the browser options. Set it to IE.

The step-by-step instructions are already there. The problem is that you're assuming that you perform these steps on the BB. You need to do all this on the PC.
