Default email setup question

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying to set up an additional email on my 8330 for my school account and it's not recognizing the email address, so it asks me if I'd like to provide the settings for it. Is it an Outlook email or a different one?

I've been trying for a few days to figure it out by myself but figured I might as well crack down my stubbornness and ask. Thanks!

Most likely you are going to have to get the settings for the email from school...

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Can you access from a PC, using Outlook Web Access?

Ask your IT department for the server settings. If you're setting up the account via BIS, the server will try to use default settings to configure the account. It then tries to make a "test" connection to the server, which is what it probably can't do.

If you get the settings, you can login via a web browser and manually configure.
