Is there a way to get the best of both worlds? I don't like it when you have to let it vibrate first, then it rings. I'm too used to motorola phones...

Check out the Aftermarket Software forum. I saw something go through a few days ago about an app that would do just that. I don't recall what it was called though. Most people get used to the vibe then ring after a while.

Not going to happen. You set the number of vibes, then the number of rings. If your phone is normally on your hip then sent it to 3 vibes then rings, If you phone is normally out of a holster, then set it to 1 vibe, then ring.

I have all of my rings set to 2 vibes in the holster and 1 vibe out of the holster. It works pretty good for me.
