Default Update time zone

Please Login to Remove!

I have heard that some BB will update the time zone automatically and some do not. Is time zone auto update available on the 8310 and is there something I need to do to make it work?

Thanks

There is no way to have a BlackBerry update the time zone automatically. You must manually set the time zone.

Wait so what is the point of the network time option then under date/time. I don't want to change the time zone and mess up my perfectly synchronized calendar, just the immediate time that is seen in the display..

The point of the network option is to have the BB sync the date/time (for the timezone that you set) over the network. If you change it to BlackBerry, then it will sync with the Desktop time when you connect the USB cable.
