Default Unlocking a password

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought an 8300 online and I entered my SIM which is Rogers just as the phone is. It seems the seller has an unlock code/password set on the phone and I am having trouble contacting them to find it out,

Is there any way to enter a default code or reset the phone in order to begin use with my rogers sim??

Enter a password 10 times (incorrectly) and the BB will reset.

Buying a BlackBerry off eBay - BlackBerryFAQ

You can try removing the IT Policy off the device...

Like the others said if you enter the password, wrong, 10 times, it will wipe the device. I would wipe any device beofre I used it just to bring it back to out of the box factory condition.
