I've seen feedback on how to redial the last number, but I need to know how to redial a number that is in the call list. I am able to use the trackball to highlight the number that I want to call, but upon hitting the send button, it still calls the last number dialed. And if I hit the meno key to see if I can select something other than the last number, I cannot see anything other than that last number. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

In your call log, scroll over and highlight it with the trackball, press the trackball twice.

When I do that, a the menu pops up that shows several options. But the only number I can redial is still the last number dialed.

Ok, it works for me. Note, I said scroll down to the call in your log, and press the trackball twice... no menu key, etc., just the trackball. Twice.

That is what I did. I was just saying that when I did hit the trackball twice, the same menu that you get if you were to hit the menu key pops up instead of redialing as it's supposed to do! I appreciate your help!

Lew, the Menu key is just left of the trackball. Assuming we are talking about the same key. If I highlight a formerly called number in my call log, and press the Menu Key twice in a row, the first Menu press takes me a menu of choices to call , view history, remove speed dial, delete, etc. The second menu press simply closes that menu.

It's odd how different these two are.

That's exactly what I did, though I have an 8830 World Edition. We have some others that are coming in for a few of my colleagues, so we can test it on their units. I appreciate your help! Oh, well!
