My Berry states that I have 8mb of memory left, 16mb right after a battery pull. But when I plugged in and went into the app loader it said I had 38mb free. Which is wrong? And is this normal?

I am presuming that the application loader bases it upon that applications selected to load and it does not include data or 3rd party apps. Menu>options>Status will give you the accurate number. 8mb is pretty low and I would try and clean it up a little.
