I have the 8830 with Verizon, but am thinking of getting the Curve. Any thoughts?

I switched, and I am really glad I did.
The 8330 (Alltel) is the first camera phone I've had. I have used Blackberry devices since 2003, and this is the best hands down.

I just traded in my Treo 700w for this Curve and I feel like a bird out of a cage.OMG. It's not even fair to compare the 2. This BB Curve runs circles around the Treo. Go 4 it. U won't be sorry

I've owned an 8830 and now have the 8330 and I'm glad I switched.

The 8330 is much easier to type on and I can get pix/flix messages as well as take them.

I can also stream XM radio (or sirius if you prefer) over orb.com through the 8330.

I'd switch.

I had the 8830 for just about a year and got the curve a month ago. I really like the smaller form factor. The keyboard seems so much easier to type on with the spacing between keys. I didn't think the camera would matter, but it's been fun having it. If you can afford it, go for it.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

By making the switch now, will that preclude you from attaining one of the 9xxx models? You have to assume VZW is getting something.

is it hard to type on that tiny keyboard? i am new to bb and skeered of the tiny keyboard. i am useing the pearl wiht the suretupe (not right now as can be seen with my typos) but i am thinking of moving to the curve because it seems to be more of a work horse for me and my business needs (i think i could edit documents on a larger screen easier if i get the doc to go in the near future.) or even longer more detailed emails.

I am buying the Curve outright. I'll do the same when the Thunder comes out.
