Default RESOLVED: Using 8320 as a Modem Help

Please Login to Remove!

OK FIGURED IT OUT. I had to go through the device properties instead of the control panel.

Thanks

I know there are threads on this already but after reading them all still having troubles.

I have Windows Vista on a Toshiba Laptop. Would like to use my BB as a modem for when I'm on the go.

The instructions look clear enough but the first problem I'm having is that when I click on "Phone and Modem Options" the only thing that shows up is "Location Information" and I don't see the "Modem Tab" like the FAQ suggests.

Also I have downloaded DM v4.5 and I do have it running int he background.

Any info would be helpful... Thank you!

Hmm... Still having the same problems as before but I just tried playing around with it for awhile. At this point I got it to get as far as "Post Connecting Through..." But nothing happens.

It's the same process, regardless of model.
