Some people that i know who have installed the 4.5 OS on their 8310's are telling me they keep getting an "uncaught exception" error when they use BB Messenger. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Or what's causing the error?

What version are they using of 4.5? That WAS an issue in early releases of OS 4.5, if I recall correctly version .18, .10 and earlier

I don't recall that issue on .37 with BBMessenger at all.

Ask the user if they have DocumentsToGo installed on the BB from the OS 4.5 upgrade. If they don't, that is likely the issue. They need to install it. DocsToGo not being installed has caused several java errors, none of which can't be overcome, however.

some of the cdma people running .33 are getting that error as well I havent experienced it yet
