Default Turn off notifications at night?

Please Login to Remove!

So I just got a curve 8310, switching over from my trusty old treo 650. I had a program on treo called butler which allowed me among other things, to turn off sms/email notification at night without turning off the ringer, turning off the radio, or setting the profile to silent. In other words, junk email that came thru in the middle of the night wouldn't wake me up, but if someone was calling in the middle of the night for an emergency, my phone would still be on. Is there any way to do this on a berry? With or without 3rd party apps, I'd just really appreciate having this functionality back. (along with threaded sms and a dedicated hardware button for turning the ringer off!)

Yep, Profiles. You want "phone only" at night.

There is a third party profile scheduler, also, if you need. Look in our Aftermarket Software section it. Threaded SMS on the way, a developer in that section has just recently made comment he is working on that.

Good luck, and welcome to the bbf.
