Default Remote software, which do you use?

I been using RDM+ and VNC+ evaluation on my particular Blackberry.
I seem to like RDM+ better mainly because its more responsive, has not errored out on connection, no firewall to configure but I dont like the idea that there is a proxy in internet land that has the log in information to my PC. Does anyone have any issues with that?
On the otherhand VNC+ I have a fixed mapped port to the PC and it works ok most of the time but sometimes there is lag or the connection fails and my PC is on Verizon Fios.
With the twenty dollar difference in price I wanted to get some opinions and if there are any other choices?
Will the new OS 4.5 have any remote ability?
Thanks in advance.
