Default 8310 Issues

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all... I am seeing a new trend coming through my dept. alot of people that have 8310's are having issues sending and receiving emails. What we have found that the problem is that its an issue with the battery. It will still have a full charge but must not have enough power to run the EDGE part of the serivce. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue?

Thanks
Chris

How did you discover that the battery was the issue? The only time I've seen the battery as the issue is when it is depleted to the point that the BB disables wireless.

I do not think the battery is the issue. If they are all doing this it sounds to me like the account is not provisioned correctly. I would give AT&T a call and have them check your data plan.

I was about to say that this sounds more coincidental than causal but without more details it's difficult to say for certain.

I have 2 users right now that only sparadically receive there email on there devices. It seems that it will deliver 5 or 8 then won't deliver 5 or so. Its werid i am not the one who came up with the battery idea so i am not even sure thats what the issue is but in all my logs it looks as everything is getting delivered.
