Default Third Party Desktop Software

Is there desktop software similar to the Palm's software for the BB? It would be easier to add/edit calendar & contact entries on the computer and then sync it with the BB.

Thanks

Outside of Outlook, I've never haerd of any other software. Never used the Palm desktop either with any of my Treo's.

You might try a search for Google Apps as I remember reading several posts about Google Calendar and gmail. Don't use either so I can't help you.

Nothing like Palm Desktop. As mentioned, Outlook is the most popular PC based PIM out there that does it all, calendar, contacts, email, tasks and memos. Also the easiest in terms of compatibility with the BB. The reason is most corporate users have Outlook, courtesy of Microsoft's domination of the market with Windows and Office. The BB is first and foremost a business tool, hence the very good integration with Outlook.
