if you were to changes the keyboard, and MAYBE change the language on the device it might change to a qwertz... maybe someone with more experience in that section will let us know, and enlighten us

I am never heard of any software that will remap the Blackberry keyboard.

well then that sucks lol i was hoping that changing the language would do it... i guess not, looks like you are stuck with a qwerty device... the only other thing i can suggest is sell the qwerty device and try and find a qwertz one

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

I assumed the keyboards were similiar. Maybe there is somethinbg you can work around with auto text.

yes the keyboard can be replaced by taking off the front cover, and the keyboard will come right out, but the issues now is whenever he will type "z" he will get "y" so we/he need to figure out how to change that in the software
