Default No sound at all!

Please Login to Remove!

I have a T-Mobile 8320. I am sure I didn't adjust anything. Currently, there is no audible sound coming from the speakerphone whatsoever. My incoming call ringtones won't sound and my speakerphone won't work.

Checked my profiles and they're still the same, meaning nothing is set to mute.

I also tried to use my default media app to play a song using the speakerphone, but no sound. When the speakerphone is off, I can hear the song through the headset, but nothing when pushing the speakerphone button.

Has my speaker phone/external speaker gone capute?

My 8320 is just 6 months old.

Take the battery out and then put it back in.

If that does not work make sure your main profile is not set to mute or quiet.

I tried that for a couple of seconds then put the battery back on t no avail. Need to leave the battery out longer you think?

My main profile is set to my custom profile.

Here are some more symptoms as far as profiles

Set to Loud = no audible sound, but it vibrates.
Set to normal = no vibe, no sound.
Set to phone only = no vibe, no sound.
Set to my custom profile = no vibe, no sound.
Set to vibrate = does vibrates

I am not familiar with that phone at all. Is there a setting to shut off the speaker some where? I am guessing you checked that. Barring that it sounds like your speaker may have given out.
If it was a curve on Verizon the battery trick would have fixed it. That gets annoying!

Have you tried tech support? I know, not my first choice. But maybe worth a try.

Good Luck!
