I used to be with tmobile with the pearl, waiting for the new iphone to come out before I switch to att. My pearl fell out of my pocket on my motorcycle and busted so I switched to att last friday and got an 8310 as a fill-in for a couple of weeks. Problem is I'm really loving this bb with 4.5. I don't know if I'll want to trade it in! Hmm. *sigh* just getting that off my chest

Well my sister purchased an iphone when it came out and a co-worker purchased one as well. Today, neither of them have it because they went back to blackberry's. An iphone is not all that its hyped up to be in my opinion. I would love to have that browser, but thats pretty much it. I give up that want for the browser for all functions of the blackberry anyday. If you take a look online on the new 3g Iphone coming out, there are quite a few disappointments that people are already pointing out such as no flash or video recording for the camera, no expansion slot, and no tethering option. These were just some I can remember off the top of my head. Not only that but you will be spending more on the new iphone down the road, if you already haven't heard that.

Even though most of us are BB biased on here, those are just facts about the iphone.

So what functions and features were you looking for on the iphone? What did you find on version 4.5 that changed your mind?

I wasn't a huge fan of the pearl. Probably just because I had it since the release date. I was waiting for the iphone to get 3g and gps. the 8310 takes care of one of those and i'm really a fan of qwerty. I like html email in 4.5 and the bold will pretty much be a dream device. I think I'm going to get an iphone on the 11th and then a bold in august.

I recently upgraded to BB 8310, and realy do like it a lot. I may upgrade to the BOLD when it comes out, but then again the 8310 will be hard to get rid of. Take care and good luck on which ever way you decide.
