Two problems and a question I've always wanted to ask:
After the downgrade was complete, the Desktop Mgr gave me this message:
"Warnings were encountered during the loading process:
The following databases could not be fully restored to your device:
Default Service Selector 0 of 4 entries restored, Firewall Options 0 of 1 entries restored
The backup data file has been saved to...."
I got this message even though everything seems fine on the device so far. Is it something I should worry about? Anyone have any idea what it means? The firewall seems to enable just fine (not that I use it) but I don't know..
Somewhere between going from 4.5 back to 4.3, I somehow lost my address book entries (of course)...this sucks because I of course had a lot of numbers in there. I loaded up the two backups I have and looked at what databases they had and neither had the address book with any entries at all (therefore empty ones just like what's on my phone now). I don't know how this happened or how to get it back but I'm really upset over this because I thought address book entries get carried over! Ughhh anyone have any suggestions? For future knowledge, how would I backup the address book individually into its own file that I can keep and restore at any time?
And the question:
Is it just my Curve or does this happen to anyone else??: Ever since I've had it, let's say it was just rebooted or the battery was just pulled and was rebooted; when the screen is still on from that initial booting up, the keyboard backlight does not operate whatsoever, just stays off even though the screen is on ever since booting up. But, once the screen has gone black from inactivity or you put it in standby to turn the screen off, and then you turn the screen back on, then the keyboard lights up and operates like normal from then on. Anyone else have this? Happens every time the phone has rebooted and the screen hasn't been shut off for the first time yet.
