Default Sync w/Outlook 2007 with multiple PST files (4.5 OS / 4.3 DM) - 07-07-2008, 05:00 PM

I recently upgraded both my DM to 4.3 and my OS to 4.5 on my Curve 8100. Everything works swimmingly with the exception of the sync. functions on the new DM software. I used to be able to manually select a specific PST file for synchronization. Now it looks like I can only select a "profile" in Outlook. This doesn't work well for me since I use a "work" profile at my office that I don't want my BB to sync with. Has anyone here found a way around this or do I need to create a "dummy profile" that just contains my calendar and address book for my BB?

Thanx in advance!

I've never sync'd to a pst file so am not much help there. I do create different profiles for different syncing though. You could always go back to the earlier version of DM. They all work with OS 4.5.

Well that's good to know. I just hate to give up that slick new GUI!! In my situation, I have a work Exchange account that is strictly work-related stuff but I also like to backup and manage my personal BB info on the same workstation --and have been doing it by assigning it a specific PST file to sync with. So far, I haven't been able to create a new Outlook 2007 profile that doesn't also require email setup of some sort. Maybe I'll just do the "manual" setup and leave it all blank...

Thanks for the help so far!
