Default 8320 and WiFi Synchronization - 07-07-2008, 08:46 PM

I have a BlackBerry 8320 that I activated on a BES with the wired Synchronization and that worked fine. Now I don't have a BB plan on my phone but since the device is now activated should I be able to pull e-mails on my home WiFi network? My carrier does not yet have BB data provisioned and this is a test unit from RIM. I can make calls and send and receive text messages and view everything else through my home WiFi but not the E-Mail from the BES.

No, you won't get any emails to the device without a BB data plan, even with wifi.

I believe you can connect it via USB and get the emails (maybe) and you might be able to connect it via Bluetooth as well. But you'll get nothing over wifi. Sorry.
