The only email attachments that I seem to be able to view are PDFs. How can I view wmv and other types of attachments?

Gif png jpeg bmp wav pdf doc xls ppt and wordperfect. BIS 2.5 added mp3 and office 2007 files (and I think mpeg)

I'm kinda new to Blackberry. What does BIS stand for? And does it apply to Verizon customers?

Its the middle man in your email service, BIS routes email from your chosen email account and fowards it to your blackberry.

I'd like to ask a question regarding this, How does BIS effect what the OP was asking? wouldn't the software on the blackberry phone effect what can and cannot be opened? just like having the correct program on a PC to view a particular type of file?
