Default 8320 MMS- tried searching

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8320 unlocked and I'm on AT&T. On my third day and no MMS. I read some thread replies from JS and have found this to be my issue.
In my Service Books (Options > Advanced > Service Books) I have no:
-MMS Client [MMS]
-MMS Transport [WPTCP]

I receive the MMS message but get an error. "cant retrieve message"
try again later. When I try retrieving again it does nothing again.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

Do you have a data plan? If you have a BIS plan try going to options advanced host routing table menu register now. If that doesn't work go to www.att.com/blackberrystart and log in. Go in and resend service books.

I'm sorry. I forgot to mention that I have no data plan. Can I do that with Wi-Fi?
Hope that's not a stupid question.

I guess not. It involves me logging in and creating an account on the BIS..

Can anyone help me here? I'm really stuck. I keep getting "Could not retrieve message content, try again later". When I try to create an MMS it says "No MMS service record".
I have no data plan on this phone and need to get my MMS working. Service reords has no MMS listed.

You need SOME sort of data plan to get MMS on the BlackBerry. T-Mobile has a "feature enabler" which will allow you to get MMS, but I do not believe AT&T has that. You can use a media net plan to get MMS.

Thank you. I have unlimited messaging on the phone which has gotten me MMS in the past on other phones. I don't know why the settings aren't there. MMS is part of my plan. I don't know what to do since this is a tmo device and I'm ATT
