Have just changed to a new device (same model) 8310 but my calendar is not showing the next 2 appointments like it did on my old device ? Can you advise ?

Also, my calls suddenly started showing in my 'messages' file How can I stop this as they come up in the call log anyway

Not sure about the first one.

For your second you need to change options. Go to the message folder and click the trackwheel and select Options. Under General Options change Hide Filed and Hide Sent to Yes. Save and there you go.
