Smile 4.5 Blackberry Browser Issue - 07-08-2008, 11:53 AM

i upgraded to the new 4.5 os. tried using the blackberry browser and it is not working right. i was trying to enter text into multiple fields. i was able to put the cursor in the first field. after i finished entering the text, i couldn't get to the next field.

also, wasn't there a hot-key to page up(2) and page down(8)? is that gone?

or am i missing something?

If you are on .37 release of OS 4.5, that is a known issue that is well-documented in many threads.

The fix is upgrading to a new OS. .37 was a passing revision level and fixes are built into subsequent releases. You won't find a patch to fix your issue on that release.

You will actually find a workaround on that issue... in your Browser > Options > General Properties > UNcheck Enable Cursor in Column View.
