Default Someone Help Me! bb Nightmare - 07-08-2008, 03:17 PM

I am a new user to the Curve and this forum, my questions (and three other people I work with)is this we are receving emails that come into the inbox of our outlook 2007 from work using an outlook server, but all the other folders that have rules set up (outlook 2007) will not go to the BB only what ever stays in the outlook inbox. Can anyone help so I can go to my boss and tell him I have the answer? He has been trying to figure it out, states Verizon told him cannot do . The other option would be to completely delete all rules from out outlook 2007 that will be messy, is there anything we can do?

Why don't the 4 of you have seperate inboxes? Thats that fast solution.

I don't believe you are going to be able to fix it otherwise.

Also, welcome!

Ok so just to clarify.

You each use your own Outlook and each have your own email going to your own accounts?

For organization you have rules set that when email comes in it is automatically filed into folders?

Are you using BES or Desktop Redirector?

If on BES, the BES admin should be able to select which folder(s) in addition to the inbox that you wish to redirect to the handheld. I've not had to do that here, so I cannot outline the procedure for you however.

Treat your password like your toothbrush. Don't let anybody else use it, and get a new one every six months.

I did a search on here and you would need BES for this:

This is a great community and that is what we are here for. You do have one other option and that would be to change the rule to COPY message instead of MOVE message into the folder. This would leave them all in the Inbox as well as file them into the correct folder.

Even on BES only your Inbox and Sent Items are redirected to the BB. You (or the BES admin) have to manually adjust the redirection settings to redirect any subfolders that you want on your BB.
