My curve's usb port is kaput and the wife's Pearl has got bad ju-ju. Anybody, know any local shops in NYC, specifically the Bronx that they can recommend? It seems you can never find good local talent when you really need it.

You USB port has likely broken off of the circuit board it is attached to. A good small electronics shop might be able to repair but I suspect one of the repair services that advertise on this site will be more able to do a good job at a good price.

As far as your wife's Pearl having "bad ju-ju", it is another story!
