Default Downloaded Ringtones not deleted in BlackBerry 8300 ? - 07-10-2008, 05:50 AM

Hi All,

Scenario is that for BB-8300, I downloaded one ringtone from server using my application. Downloaded ringtone file goes to Media -> Ring Tones Folder. Here i am going to delete that ringtone file using opinon -> delete.

when i select delete option, one notify window pop up with delete and cancel option. I chose delete option and than notify window get close (that means file deleted). But after this file exist on ringtone list but not play(Before delete operation it play). It means content of that file deleted, But the name of file exist.
I hope you understand this scenario.

All this operation working fine on BB 8100 device and other Sony ,Nokia devices.

Please reply me as soon as possible.

Thanks in Advance.

Try a battery pull with the device turned on.

Sometimes things just happen and the number one rule is when ever your Blackberry does something wrong, pull the battery first. More than half the time, that will correct the problem.

It's called a bug. The list doesn't update until the device goes through a hard reset.
